Our Financial Management team is part of KPMG’s Consulting practice. We help CFOs and senior finance executives improve their finance function by rendering it more efficient, effective and aligning it to the business strategy. This enables the organization to realize and sustain value in the long term.
Our team is looking for a Manager with profound profitability and cost management experience. In this role you will lead a diverse project portfolio and interact with our multinational clients’ executives.
Responsibilities & Profile
Your responsibilities
- Support CFOs with leading practice insights in the areas of effective profitability & cost management, performance steering and management reporting
- Streamline and simplify cost distribution, such as service allocations and recharges and cost controlling reporting processes
- Support clients in improving the efficiency and quality of their shared services and overhead functions, including service catalogue and SLA designs
- Support CFOs on implementing market leading solutions, such as Business Intelligence tools and enterprise performance management software
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams in delivering consulting services to global clients
- Actively contribute to the «Go-to market» strategy including the identification of sales opportunities, development of standardized service offerings and preparation of proposals for international clients
- Expand and further develop the profitability and cost management services and capabilities
Your profile
- At least 5 years of consulting experience with focus on profitability and cost management, cost optimization, performance steering and/or management reporting
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or a similar subject
- Strong affinity and understanding of technology-enabled enterprise performance management and management information systems
- Previous experience in leading project teams, project management and preparation of proposals for consulting services
- Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements
- Readiness to leverage on your network in the Swiss market to identify growth opportunities for your services
- Flexibility to travel, mainly within the area of Zurich
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a big plus
