Geomatics Engineer (w/m/d) Monitoring Solution

  • Maintain and improve existing commercial software solutions for structural monitoring solutions and services
  • Engineer/Innovate/Develop new software solutions for structural monitoring
  • Cutting-edge technology and computer science
  • Designing and implementing high-end software solutions with a wide range of technologies
  • Working in interdisciplinary agile software development teams
  • Close collaboration with surveying product engineers, product management and support team working on Leica GeoMoS Monitoring Solutions

This is you

  • A higher degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) related to the field of geomatics, geodesy, geoinformatics or surveying engineering
  • Passionate about geodesy and software development
  • Strong focus on high quality work and security related topics
  • Professional experience in software development in C#
  • Experience in backend and frontend Web Development (ASP.NET, Angular/React, JavaScript) is an advantage
  • Experience in cloud technologies and architecture is an advantage (Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code)
  • Experience in software development in C or C++ is an advantage
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken), German is a plus
