Take a key role in a leading health economic research institute

• Shape the agenda for applied health economic research and teaching, with a focus on health care spending, financing, and efficiency
• Acquire third-party funding with academic research funding institutions (Swiss National Science Foundation, European Union, etc.) and national health care partners (Federal Office of Public Health, Cantonal authorities, insurers, industry, provider associations, etc.)
• Teach at Bachelor, Master, and Executive Education levels (in German)
• Contribute to the development of the institute, by coaching junior researchers and shaping the academic environment

• PhD in economics
• Strong skills in quantitative research methods
• Broad research experience and interest in policy-relevant research
• Proven track record in the acquisition of third party funded projects with academic research funding institutions and with practice partners, with the results published in relevant scholarly academic journals
• Excellent knowledge of the Swiss health care system and a strong network in Switzerland
• Experience in teaching to different audiences, high ratings in course evaluations
• Leadership and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit
• German at teaching level and business fluent English are essential
