Responsibilities & Profile

Your responsibilities

  • Support projects and develop solutions to actuarial/consulting problems for corporate clients
  • Conduct international pension transaction due diligence
  • Carry actuarial valuations of various benefits as one-off exercises or repeat engagements
  • Coordinate our clients’ local actuarial advisors to produce consolidated accounting disclosures
  • Provide other ad hoc pensions support to our clients as needed
  • Help the KPMG Audit function reviewing defined benefit pension accounting across a range of accounting standards
  • Manage client relationships and develop new ones
  • Assist in the development of proposals and initiatives in order to win new business

Your profile

  • Strong technical knowledge, particularly around pension accounting, and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Experience of current pension issues, ideally across a range of European territories
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independent and outgoing personality who fosters collaboration and develops innovative solutions
  • At least 3 to 6 years of experience within the pensions industry in an actuarial position
  • University degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, economics, natural sciences or finance, major in actuarial mathematics is an asset
  • Strong IT skills, specifically in MS Office, experience with actuarial software a plus
  • Fluent business English, German skills are an advantage
